Welcome to my website! My name is John Kase and I am a recent graduate of the Music Education program at Penn State University. My final semester was spent student teaching in the Williamsport Area School District with an emphasis in General Music/Choral and Band.
This site highlights my experiences at both Penn State and while student teaching. Lesson plans, videos, pictures, assignments, and classroom management plan are just a few of the things you will discover. You can also view my philosophy for music education, musicianship, and plans for professional development.
Currently, I am teaching classroom music at Louise Archer Elementary three days a week and at Keene Mill Elementary two days a week. Both are part of the Fairfax County Public School system.During my time here I have been working with grades kindergarten through sixth on a diverse set of repertoire and activities. I have also been given the privilege to assist in the production of the sixth grade musical at Louise Archer. This year they are performing Seussical Jr. from the Broadway Junior collection.
